I'm facing the unenviable task of finding an outfit for my daughter's wedding. Please help! I'd like something stylish, unusual and not at all MOTB-ey. I saw a coat dress on marieclaire.co.uk from Coast but sadly it is no longer in stock.

As mother of the bride, it can often be difficult to find an appropriate outfit for a wedding. Often it seems as though the fashion world is determined to dress you in something dowdy and drab. Fear not though, there are shops out there that offer something a little more stylish.
If you're after a dress that will hide any lumps or bumps, then take a look at Marks and Spencer's simple shift dress. It's in a bright pink colour and would be great for a springtime wedding. To cover up arms, try Yasmin le Bon's range for Wallis. Her beaded black cape is in the sale and will add a unique touch to a simple outfit. Alternatively, Coast have a wonderful wide-collared embroidered jacket which would also fit the bill.
