Daisy Ridley has come a long way since her red carpet debut for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
After wowing audiences in the blockbuster film – it earned over $2 billion, people – Daisy has garnered critical acclaim and the love of Star Wars’ fans.
But, it is her *serious* fashion prowess that has us falling in love with Daisy. Thanks to the her bold, fashion-forward looks and love of colour, she’s stolen our hearts, shunning the awkwardness of a red carpet debut to become our style star-to-watch in 2016.
Quickly bursting onto the scene after being cast in Star Wars, Daisy made waves by donning glorious designer togs, despite being a relative unknown. Dior, Mary Katrantzou and Chanel were clamouring to dress the star, and she obliged with some fashion-forward looks that weren’t afraid to be different.
Take for instance, her latest red carpet look, where Daisy showed off athletic figure in a Hugo Boss navy blue outfit, with sheer panels and sparkly heeled shoes.
Even her shoe game is on point – we’re already crushing on her growing collection – and as for her hair, the star has been rocking some gorgeous up-dos as well as soft waves, emphasising her natural British beauty.
We’re inspired, and with that, let’s look back at some of Daisy Ridley’s best fashion moments…
Presenting at her first Oscars, Daisy could do no wrong in a Chanel silver flapper-inspired gown, with embellished peplum detailing and silver peep toe sandals.
Wearing a feminine Giambattista Valli frock (see what we mean by designers?), Daisy worked the monochrome trend by pairing her black and white gown with simple black heels.
Going androgynous for the Oscar Wilde awards in 2016, Daisy let her hair down literally, pairing her relaxed ‘do with a black fitted suit.
One of our favourite looks from Daisy yet, the actress wore a stunning purple floral applique gown from Jason Wu.
Taking the Star Wars theme a bit literally, Daisy wore a fashion-forward Roland Mouret asymmetrical gown for the London premiere.
At the December LA premiere of Star Wars – The Force Awakens, the British actress absolutely stunned in this beautiful tiered white organza halter neck gown – by French fashion house Chloé. The beautiful and ethereal style was off set with dramatic detailing to the back though and some killer accessories…
Daisy’s white frock featured beautiful cutaway detailing to the back with a graduated hem.
The final piece of the outfit though? These stunning cream heels. Love, love, LOVE!

Already rocking Chanel – and the Spring 2016 collection, no less – Daisy gives off an English rose feel a la Keira Knightley with her classic flapper girl silhouette and tiered ruffle skirt. Not to mention her mega-watt smile to boot.

Daisy quietly attended Burberry’s London in Los Angeles event earlier in 2015, looking oh-so-chic in an A/W15 floral dress. Already showing off her style savvy, she paired the look with electric blue pumps, proving that has a long fashion road ahead of her.
