Each year, a handful of the world’s most glamorous stars decend on the South of France to attend the Cannes Film Festival.
The annual celebration sees the VIP guests step out at premieres of new movies and mingle with one another at some of the most glittering parties.
This year’s event kicked off with a photocall for jurors including Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal, French-Canadian actor Xavier Dolan plus Sophie Marceau.
Having jetted into Nice wearing a decidedly chic monochrome outfit made up of a slouchy white vest and black trousers, Sienna was keen to impress as she posed in front of photographers.
The actress donned a Bardot-style off-the-shoulder midi for the occasion and was snapped sharing a joke with Jake who looked oh-so handsome in an all-black ensemble.
Cannes Film Festival’s opening ceremony is a real chance for A-listers to show off their style on the red carpet.

The night was certainly one to remember for Julianne Moore who was presented with the 2014 Best Actress gong for her role in Maps To The Stars.
Julianne – who stunned as she graced the red carpet in a floor-sweeping black and grey creation – was unable to make an appearance at last year’s festival.
