Kate Middleton continued her reign as the queen of British high street style yesterday, choosing a fitted taupe dress from Reiss to meet Michelle and Barack Obama.

The second time the Duchess of Cambridge has chosen the brand for a high profile appearance - she wore a white dress for her official engagement photo shoot with Mario Testino - it's the latest in a string of affordable fashion buys to be spotted in her wardrobe, including pieces from L.K. Bennett, Zara and Whistles.

Although Reiss quickly sold out of the style, it's promised they'll be more online soon - so keep your eyes peeled! Although it might not look quite the same without that Seychelles tan...
