A friend of mine recently stated that she doesn't take photos in winter as everyone looks much prettier come the spring. After some debate, we decided this was not only down to sun-kissed glows and floaty frocks, but that the warmer weather banishes the glum greys of winter wardrobes, and instead brings with it pretty pastels and vibrant brights.
It's for this reason that I'm already excited by the spring collections trickling into stores, even though the weather is still hovering at sub-zero temperatures. Case in point is this lithograph print Whistles dress. In lemon yellow, it would inject a shot of colour into any wardrobe, and best of all, will also look lovely teamed with soft grey layers, which we'll unfortunately still be bundling up in for at least a few more months.
