With fans that include Keira Knightley, Kylie Minogue and Madonna, the Issa dress has become something of a phenomenon since Daniella Helayel started the business in 2001. As a former fashion buyer, Helayel spotted a gap in the market, when she could never find dresses that could take you to the beach, the office or a party, that she felt were central to her native Brazilian style.
Since then her signature silk jersey dresses in distinct prints have become a much copied wardrobe staple, and the label has grown to include accessories, knitwear, swimwear and lingerie.
