Basso & Brooke
The very first winners of Fashion Fringe back in 2004, Basso & Brooke delighted the London fashion scene with their naughty but powerful prints and body-hugging designs.
Prints have remained key in subsequent collections, while sponsorship with the likes of Swarovski and L'Oréal have allowed the designers to show in extravagant locations (including, memorably, a vault underneath London Bridge train station).
The two individuals who make up Basso & Brooke -Nottinghamshire lad Christopher Brooke and former Brazilian graphic designer Bruno Basso – believe it's partly their cultural differences that have led to their success – and who are we to disagree.
