Born Eshamuddin Ismail in Singapore in 1976, Ashley Isham left Singapore in 1996 to take a pattern-cutting course at the London College of Fashion before moving to the hallowed halls of Central St Martin's College.

His eponymous label was created in 2000 and his flagship boutique, Ashley, in 2005.
