Ever wondered how Hollywood's most gorgeous and glamorous get that way? Take a closer look, and you'll see they're more than likely wearing designer-of-the-moment, Brooklyn-born Zac Posen.

At just 27, Posen has already established himself as the must-visit man for red-carpet events and party-scene styling. His bias-cut cocktail dresses, figure-enhancing fishtail gowns and sweeping satin styles have the likes of Eva Mendes, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Garner banging down his door.

After a stint at Central St Martin's College in London, Posen dropped out of school to pursue his career. He secured internships at the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute, Nicole Miller and Tocca, before a spot in Gen Art's 2001 Fresh Faces in Fashion show put him on the fast track to fashion fame.

Sean 'P Diddy' Coombs has backed him since his first major runway show in 2004, and the young designer is now set to expand his brand with a lower-price bridge line.
