Oscar de la Renta
Born in 1932, Oscra de la Renta continues to be one of America's leading fashion designers. He started his career sketching for Cristóbal Balenciaga, and later moved to Lanvin, and Elizabeth Arden.
In 1965 he started his own-name label, which continues to be one of the big shows on the New York fashion week schedule. In 1990 he received the CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award.
