Though Narciso Rodriguez can boast celebrity fans that include Salma Hayek, Claire Danes and Rachel Weisz, his most famous design will perhaps always be the wedding dress he designed for friend Carolyn Bessette wore when she married John F. Kennedy, Jr.
Rodriguez launched his own-name label in 1998, after stints at Cerruti, Donna Karan and Calvin Klein. In 2005 he became the first American designer to ever win the celebrated CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award two years in a row.
