A celebrity favourite for more than four decades, Valentino's intricate, detailed, sexy designs have been showcased by the likes of style icons (Jackie Onassis), silver screen legends (Elizabeth Taylor, Halle Berry) and sassy pop stars (Gwen Stefani).
Valentino himself has headed up the design team for the label since it started in 1960. His signature style screams opulence, with the use of sumptuous fabrics like silk crepe, lace and chiffons making up many of his tantalising, figure-forming creations.
The typical Valentino woman? Gorgeous, jet-setting, distinctively sexy, successful. Think Julia Roberts in his vintage black dress with white piping at the Oscars in 2001.
