Burberry

Burberry

Founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry, the label is as British as fish and chips or rainy weather.

The brand's reputation underwent something of a battering when the traditional, iconic Burberry check was adopted by the chav contingent, however, the label is enjoying something of a renaissance at the moment, thanks to the leadership and vision of creative director Christopher Bailey.

The high-end Burberry Prorsum collection is shown on the catwalk in Milan, but ad campaigns continue to feature British models like Kate Moss and Agyness Deyn, alongside rock royalty such as Bryan Ferry and his sons.
