This Sunday, the Princes of Print's first collection for Target drops, and you might want to set your alarm. Design duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos’ stunning capsule collection will be available on Net-a-porter.com this Sunday.

The line is made up of almost 70 dazzling, surf-inspired, digital print pieces. And they won’t have you dipping into the overdraft either, with most pieces clocking in at under £60. These guys make wearing print easy (you don’t have to be Solange knowles to wear head-to-toe print contrary to popular belief) and this collection is exemplary.

Here are 5 reasons we’ll be getting up at the crack of dawn, getting our dressing gowns on, grabbing a cup of tea and furiously refreshing net-a-porter.

1.The Updated Tux

Let’s face it, the words 'office-appropriate' don’t inspire high-fashion fabulous thoughts. This could all be about to change, however, with the colour block Pilotto tux jacket. Blue and black (the chicest of all colour combinations) with a splash of print, and a diagonal hemline, makes this jacket high on our hit list. It will look just as great paired with distressed denim as with tailored trousers.

2. The Monochrome Skirt

Alexa was wearing it at the launch party in New York, so our money is on this piece selling very quickly indeed. This skirt is a SS14 essential (monochrome was everywhere on the catwalks) and, as Chung proved, it looks fabulous with a fluffy knit and opaques - but will look best with a bare leg in the summertime.

3. The Perfect Skate Slip-On

Skate shoes are having a moment and if you missed the boat on the Isabel Marant for H&M beauties now’s your chance to snag a pair of print-perfect trainers. There are a few options but we think we’ll be plumping for the white and black numbers for surfer dude cool.

4. Your New Party Dress

Meet your new best friend. The Pilotto for Target cocktail dress. Why? They’re long-sleeved (praise the fashion Gods), they have a slim black waistband, which draws the eye to the waistline, and, on first glance, they look like a skirt and top combo, which makes you look incredibly laissez faire about all that print. Race you to the check out.

5.The Twin Set

Think you can’t wear a matching print top and trouser together? Wrong. We’re lusting after the knit and casual trouser set. The trousers have a sneaky geo-pattern that will elongate legs, and the knit is statement jumper-worthy. We think this is the most office-to-bar perfect outfit we’ve seen in a long time.
