And the whole family were there to help her celebrate

Victoria Beckham received an OBE for her services to the fashion industry yesterday, honoured by Prince William at an awards ceremony in Buckingham Palace.

The Spice Girl turned iconic fashion designer was in good company, receiving her award alongside Academy Award winning actor Mark Rylance who was given a knighthood and Olympic heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill who was made a Dame.

‘It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today,’ Victoria announced. ‘I am proud to be British, honoured and humbled to receive my OBE from the Duke of Cambridge.’

She continued: ‘If you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things. I am so happy to share this very special occasion with my parents and my husband; without their love and support, none of this would be possible.’
