13 times celebrities were totally relatable

From guilty pleasures to quirky habits and awkward childhood moments...

Of all the words usually associated with celebrities, ordinary definitely isn’t one of them. To us mere mortals their worlds seem to comprise of flawless photo shoots, glamorous premiers and jealousy-inducing getaways to private islands. But then, every so often, a celeb will say something surprisingly normal to remind us that they’re actually as human as the rest of us….

‘When I have bad days, I just eat lots of chocolate ice cream and dance to the Lion King soundtrack. It’s really odd, but it’s true.’ Blake Lively

‘I’m a horrible dancer! I’m like a dad at prom. I look like Gumby getting electrocuted.’ Jennifer Lawrence

‘Working on my fantasy of what I SHOULD have said to that FedEx girl who gave me attitude.’ Anna Kendrick via Twitter.
‘When I’m dating someone, if she bonds with my cats I’ll give her a chance maybe more than I would otherwise. But if she doesn’t like my cats, it’s kind of a deal breaker.’ Dave Franco

‘I had to delete my Facebook because I got addicted to FarmVille…I was leaving dinners to harvest, real dinners!’ Emma Stone

‘I used to have an afro like Will Ferrell in Semi-Pro. It was bleached blond from the sun. I was tall and awkward. I was not cool.’ Liam Hemsworth

‘I’m a carb queen. I’ll always order macaroni and cheese, but I don’t want it to be fancy. I want it to be as close to Kraft Services as it can possibly get!’ Drew Barrymore
‘Fondue is not a good date food. You end up with cheese dripping down your face.’ James Cordon

‘Living alone, you can do so many fantastic things I’ve learned. You can like, walk around and have conversations with yourself and sing your thoughts’. Taylor Swift

‘I’ve got a swimming pool and I pretend to be a mermaid, like in the middle of the night. It kind of de-stresses me.’ Rebel Wilson
‘I crashed my bicycle on the way to my first date with my ex-girlfriend and was cautioned by the police.’ James Norton

‘As a teenager I went all Goth, but I wasn’t mopey enough. I would pretend to be, but I’d end up making people laugh.’ Melissa McCarthy
