The Hollywood actress has pulled the plug on all her upcoming movies

It’s a sad day in Hollywood, as Chloë Grace Moretz has announced that she’s ‘pulled the plug’ on all of her upcoming movies.

In an interview earlier this week with The Hollywood Reporter, the young actress and model revealed that she will be stepping away from the spotlight for the foreseeable future in order to focus on herself, instead.

Chloe explained: ‘I pulled the plug on all my movies because I want to reassess who I am and find myself within my roles again. I’m realising that I can slow down.’

The nineteen-year-old first entered the Hollywood scene at the age of seven, and has since gone on to star in over 50 films.

Chloe’s big break came when she portrayed the role of Hit Girl in the 2010 blockbuster hit, Kick-Ass. Most recently, she has appeared alongside Zac Efron (lucky girl) and Seth Rogen in Bad Neighbours 2.

Fans of the young star will be glad to hear that Chloe isn’t going to completely disappear from Hollywood, though, as she plans to turn her attention to the production side of things instead.

Of course, many fans are still left worrying about what Chloe’s latest announcement means for the live-action remark of The Little Mermaid. No official word has been given on how her decision will impact her current roles, but as production hasn’t yet started things could still change.

Chloe also made headlines last week following rumours that she had split from boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham, after the two had spent the summer together in LA. The pair only confirmed their relationship a few months ago, and just last month Victoria took to Instagram too cheer Chloe on as she delivered a heartfelt speech at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Regardless of her relationship status, the young star has been spotted out and about this week whilst rocking this summer’s blue eyeshadow trend. Here's hoping she still finds the time to continue her modelling career.
