My new (political) career

Posted by Ellie Omahoney at 17:26 on 12 May 2010

Nick Clegg is announced as Deputy Prime Minister

I posted 15 Facebook status updates over the past 48 hours. Some friends have emailed with concern that I'm not getting enough work. Something to ponder but I choose to take the view that my inner politico has shelved all pesky work deadlines until I have given a full and frank commentary on the state of the political nation.

I have started to think I missed my calling as a political journalist. A sample of my status updates below. I'm sure you'll agree.

2030: Livid. TV not working, in news hole on biggest news day of the year. comforting behaviour going on in the form of fishfingers, chips and beans dinner.

[having finally got the TV working]

Nice to see some one treat the elections with the same sensibility and seriousness as or political leaders
