I know it's all a bit gushy and possibly a bit... who-does-she-think-she-is-talking-to-her-‘people', but anyway, I don't care! I bloody well love you all!
I knew you were all massively intelligent, open-minded, sophisticated thinkers (you log onto the Marie Claire website after all) but all your comments on my last blog confirmed that ten-fold. You're all so damned nice. And you made me feel so supported. I wouldn't be lying if I didn't shed a tear, (of gratitude) over comments about how you think Egg and I are doing a great job and how lucky Fergus is to have two loving parents and (of laughter) over comments like... "Have left message for Bill from Worcester to go and find his brain," and (this was my favourite from Rachel): "All I can say is how fabulous being one of those DM commentators and leading a perfect, blameless existence!"
Rock on people! And they say young people today are complacent? I also got many lovely comments - in person and in writing - from people here in Berko. So big up to the homies! I think I'm going to really like living here.
In other news, Egg has booked me a personal trainer. He feels this will help with my ‘lethargy' (I keep telling him - I'm working! That's why I am still in my dressing gown at 11am working my way through the box of Lindt chocolates on my desk. There's nothing wrong with me, it's just one cannot expect to write a book, write features, be a parent AND exercise. Can they?)
Can they?
Something's gotta give and I feel it may be my thighs.

Hi Katie,
Rachel here again, glad you liked my line, I have in fact just torn another strip off DM preachers this morning for attacking Edwina Currie's daughter. The poor girl admitted she got pregnant after a one night stand but she, like you, has moved to live by the father of her daughter and she has a job to support her and her daughter. Well, you'd have just thought she'd admitted to devil worship from the comments written about her. Bill from Worcester has probably keeled over at reading about 2 single mothers in the space of a week in his favourite paper.....and don't even get me started on Jan Moir.......!!!!
Glad we all kept you going x

Katy,
Fergus is a very lucky boy. Daily Mail readers shouldn't be allowed to vote, you know that.

Jan Moir's column seconds the case of what the target audience of the awful DM is (grr makes me angry).
I've read your blog since it first started in MC and haven't missed one since. Carry on as you are; you not only provide a blog that is heart-warming, funny and so honest, you inspire aswell.
Thanks for such a great read!

Katy- the reason why you didn't receive any adverse comments in response to your previous post is because they weren't printed!
