Oh, the powers of Twitter. Today the stars over in La-la land are mainly talking about the 4.7 magnitude earthquake that hit at 8.39pm last night, about 10 miles south-west of downtown LA.

While Miley Cyrus is asking if anyone felt it, Alexandra Burke reports she didn't feel it. Ryan Seacrest writes that the quake lasted 15-20 seconds and his producers said it was 'scary'. Lauren Conrad, on the other hand, writes less informatively with 'Earthquake!!!!!'

In other Twitter news Gail Porter had a 'late night' and is 'feeling very delicate'.

Nick Grimshaw is miffed because his favourite jeans are ripping at the knee and crotch.

Peaches Geldof just did a photoshoot on a lilo and fell into the pool.

Katy Perry is in Austria.

And Nicole Ritchie is 'a wolf'. Indeed.
