Trainer-tastic
Posted by Emma Sibbles at 10:52 on 13 Mar 2009
This weekend I’ll be trying out my new MBT trainers in the park.
The shoe beloved of the Yummy Mummy will be gracing feet whose only previous knowledge of trainers is Converse.
In case you’ve been under a rock for the past few years, MBTs – Masai Barefoot Technology – are unlike ordinary shoes because they distribute pressure equally along the whole foot.
With a bigger than average sole that produces a rocking movement when you walk, it makes your body use muscles it doesn’t normally use to compensate for the instability it experiences.
I got mine in white, grey and Barbie pink. Hopefully they can repair some of the damage I’ve done over the years with my high heels.
