Are they boots? Are they leggings?

Stella McCartney has shown a boot/ legging hybrid on her Paris catwalk for autumn/ winter 09.

Models including Natasha Poly, Karlie Kloss and Lakshmi Menon strode down the runway in grey or black faux leather and suede concoctions.

With pencil thin, sky-scraper heels and a blunt toe, the ‘beggings’ were teamed with suiting and slip dresses.

Just don’t expect them to be any good in the snow.
