How long can you wear high heels for?

I only ask because Victoria Beckham, she of the nerve-deadened feet, wore hers all day traipsing around Disneyland with her two oldest boys.

All day in heels is fine if you’re sat down or driven around or carried everywhere but if you’re actually on your feet, especially racing around after two young boys, it’s pretty hardcore.

The times I’ve tried to wear them all day –even my comfiest pairs - I have ended up in absolute agony and ended up loping home along grass verges to try and get some relief from the burning sensation on the balls of my feet only to rip them off the minute I get through the door.

So I applaud Mrs B who managed it with nary a grimace of pain. What a pro.
