Sarah Jessica Parker has admitted making several sartorial bloopers over the years. She singled out her black wedding dress worn when she married Matthew Broderick in 1997.

Not one to disparage the woman who brought us the many guises of Carrie Bradshaw, I’m going to suggest that this news perhaps explains the cream puff that she wore at the Oscars.

Made by Dior it was stunning but more suited to walking down the aisle than the red carpet.
