Anger Management?

Children are very good for giving you a reality check. This morning, Fergus and I were watching the Mr Men. 'What Mr Man do you think you'd be?' I said 'Mr Greedy!' he announced. 'With a big fat tummy.'

'What Mr Man do you think mummy would be?' I asked (serves me right for asking incessant questions. Fergus has already warned me about this and he’s only 3, what will he be like when he’s 14?) 'Mr Angry,' he said...'Because you’re always angry.'

'Am I?!'  I said, shocked, but really, he’d already answered that question for me.

Better curb the shouting at the DVD player then….

…and the way the freezer jams itself shut…

…and the way I always run out of phone credit at that vital moment.

…and well, a lot of things actually.
