It's work, honest

Are you bored yet with the sales? Big confession: I haven't actually started yet.

In the remedial class for my shopping skills (I honestly can't stand it. Love having new clothes, hate the process of getting them in the first place), I've yet to enter a shop with the word 'sales' in the window this month.

However, as a red bus with the Harrods sale banner flew past me this morning, panic mode kicked in. If I don't buy something soon, they'll be over and I'll be back in full-price purgatory (so not a good idea in these credit-crunch times).

The good news, however, is that by waiting just that little bit longer, many brands are slashing prices further AND wacking all the high summer fashion into the mix as well.

Rather than follow the aforementioned bus to Harrods though, I'm doing all my sales shopping in one go, and all from the comfort of my desk at work (shh, I edit a website, for christsakes, it's practically counted as research).

Top of my wish list is this beautiful Philosophy de Alberta Ferretti dress, which has 50% slashed off the price tag, followed not so far behind by Biba's Audrey blouse.
