Sex and the City premiere party gossip

Last night, I went to see the Sex and the City film.
I am not allowed to tell you anything about the film, BUT I can tell you that it is amazing and a rollercoaster of emotions.

More importantly, I went to the after party.

There were four (FOUR) VIP areas, but these weren't curtained secret areas... OH NO, they were just seats in the middle of the room. One for each girl.
Kristin and Cynthia shared one (leaving one empty).
SJP held court in another (she turned up v.late).
Kim Cattrall in the other.

Kim Cattrall looks AMAZING in real life. Proper hot.

SJP wore a silly hat to the premiere. By the time she got to the party, the hat wasn't there.

Kristin and Cynthia stayed together the whole night. Cynthia's girlfriend was there (IN A BEIGE SUIT!!)

Kim Cattrall spent ages talking to Paul O'Grady.

Paul O'Grady was with a 'younger man'

There were cocktails named after each girl.
(Carrie - cosmopolitan)
(Samantha - seduction - vodka with lemon and lime)
(Charlotte - sweet pineapple martini)
(Miranda - raspberry ramble - vodka lime and raspberry)
(Mr big - dark and stormy rum, lime and ginger beer)

Louise Redknapp had plaits in her hair.

Kelly Rowland was wearing purple, her shoes were too big for her, but she looked v.pretty.

The BT advert man was there.

At one point I asked why everyone was taking pictures of Mackenzie Crook... It turns out, SJP was having her picture taken with him (!!!)

Davina was there, wearing a white suit type thing. She did the Beyoncé dance. AMAZING.

Tamara Beckwith talked about come dine with me, with me.

Gary Lineker was there.

The Sugababes sang. And were really, really good.

The room was all decked out in candles and roses and sparkle and a light up dance floor.

The girls' toilets had SJP's perfume in, for you to try on.

The food was AMAZING... everything from sushi to chinese 'takeout' to risotto to salads and mini pizzas.

Trinny was also there. And a model who might've been Jacquetta Wheeler.

A waiter took SJP some food, but she moved her arm at the wrong time and sent the food everywhere. SJP is tiny in real life and really not that ugly.

Back to the film, it really is very, very good, and it doesn't feel like a film. It's like an extended episode.
AND all four girls watched the film at the same time as us.
