Sex and the City premiere

Tonight I am going to the premiere of the most eagerly awaited fashion film since The Devil Wears Prada. Scream. Tonight I find out what is going on with the SATC girls, and more importantly, what they are wearing, and if the trailer is anything to go by, it looks great.

From paparazzi shots, we've seen the return of the giant corsage, the floral clash dress and jacket, the oversize Katharine Hamnett tee with over-the-knee socks, the Eiffel Tower handbag and, of course, the wedding dress. Prepare for some serious sartorial statements.

With Hollywood stars playing it increasingly safe we need a hit of inspiration from Carrie and her crew.

I have chosen a nice floral summer dress and some foxy heels with a shrunken tuxedo in case it's chilly in the cinema. I will report back tomorrow.
