Troubled old Amy's very public battle with drugs reached epic proportions this year as the singer suffered countless health problems, including emphysema and impetigo. As she checked in and out of rehab, missed huge events like the Nelson Mandela concert and delivered a shambolic performance at Glastonbury, Amy's husband, Blake, enjoyed a premature release from jail, only to find himself banged up once more after breaking a condition of his release, to remain in rehab. Here's hoping 2009 will be a better year for the talented Ms Winehouse.
