Ciara's new gig has us like, 'oh'!

My goodies! Ciara is the new face of Revlon. And it's as though fate has played out. After all, the singer was named after the 1973 Revlon perfume.'My mom was trying to figure out my name when my dad bought her a fragrance called Ciara by Revlon. That’s where my name came from! Ever since I understood that, my mind has been on it,' she told People.

Ciara was also eager to work with the brand because of its focus on female empowerment. 'It’s an exciting thing because, you know, it’s bigger than the makeup. They take it a step further by using the platform to help make a difference,' she said. And now, the 30-year-old singer, actress and fashion is set to star in Revlon's campaigns (the first of which is launching on October 22), including its Choose Love initiative.

With cheekbones that could give Kate Moss a run for her money and her feline features, it's little wonder why Revlon chose Ciara to be their new face. Not mention the fact that her make-up is always on fleek. Her pout is a force to be reckoned with. And she has the best brows in the game. Ugh, she leaves us speechless.

'I'm so, so excited to share that my lifelong dream has come true!' she sang in an announcement video on Revlon's Instagram page. Dressed in a robe, with a towel on her head, Ciara couldn't hide her excitement as she revealed her latest notch to an ever growing resume.

Her husband Russell Wilson, whom she married back in July, also showed his support, captioning a photo with 'Congrats my sweet love. @Revlon could not have picked a more stunning & gorgeous Global Brand Ambassador than you. You deserve the world & you will always have mine. I love you.'

Ciara joins the likes of Emma Stone, Olivia Wilde, Halle Berry, and Lauren Hutton, to name just a few. And we can't wait to see the campaign images to come. We bet they'll be super turnt up. Last song reference, we swear.
