Rooney Mara got so into character for her edgy role in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo that it moulded her personal style too in the early months of 2012. And thank god she did, because she was one of the most exciting red carpet dressers to emerge for years. While many expected her to wear her signature black to the Oscars, she surprised everyone and opted for angelic white instead in a stunning backless Givenchy Couture gown.
