Pregnant celebrities: See the most stylish expectant mums

Katherine Heigl

Spotting baby bumps on the celeb circuit is just about our favourite activity. Whether they're glammed-up for a turn on the red carpet or dressed in something far more low-key for a stroll around the shops, the stars often make stylish maternity moments.

If you're a mum-to-be and running ideas of what to wear, a flick through our gallery will provide you with lots of inspiration.

Jaime King certainly had that pregnancy glow about her when she hit the LA screening of Barely Lethal in a scarily strapless dress. At the Cannes Film Fesival, French model Noemie Lenoir stole the show in a loose-fitting canary yellow floor-sweeper.

While carrying her daughter Charlotte, Kate Middleton donned a number of winning outfits. While we love all of them, we were particularly taken with the ensemble she chose for a visit to the Stephen Lawrence Centre. For her outing in Deptford with husband Prince William, Kate dressed her growing belly in a hot pink coat featuring black buttons. She teamed her colour jacket with a pair of plain courts.

Reminding expectant mothers that they don't need to shy away from some of the more catwalk trends was Kim Kardashian at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York. While pregnant with her second child, Saint West, she proudly displayed her changing figure - and underwear - in a sheer ankle-length dress. We applaud here bravery.

When she was pregnant with daughter James, Blake Likely made a name for herself as a real maternity wear icon. The actress covered her baby bump in everything from colourful coats to boho cardigans. The Gossip Girl star also continued to wear heels, tottering about it sophisticated knee-high boots on a number of occasions. And, she's still nailing it during her second pregnancy.
