The stars of the music world descended on Belfast last night to celebrate the industry’s success at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards. Like many MTV ceremonies in the past, Lady Gaga stole the show with a series of characteristically bonkers outfits and bagging a total of four awards – Best Female, Biggest Fans, and Best Song and Best Video for Born This Way. Once the bash wrapped, the superstar singer posed for photographers clutching her gongs wearing a futuristic metallic mesh dress with power shoulders and a fishtail.
