The details: Rumours of a split began doing the rounds in January this year, and days later, Katie later revealed her marriage to Alex was 'in crisis'. The pair jetted off on a make-or-break holiday, but were unable to patch up their broken relationship, and finally issued a statement confirming their whirlwind 11-month marriage was over. As soon as the decision was made, the 32-year-old issued a lengthy statement via her publicist, and it didn't make for light reading. Far from the expected 'mutual decision' comment, Katie instead laid into her cage-fighting husband, stating his 'difficult' behaviour and new-found 'fascination' with fame as the reason for their split.
