Her passion for green issues began at an early age and her actress mother, Blythe Danner, has been a particular inspiration, having been involved in recycling and conservation initiatives in Los Angeles and New York for more than 30 years. It was only natural that she should follow her parents’ lead. ‘It makes sense and you feel compelled to do the same,’ says Paltrow.
