Born in Paris to an actress mother and dentist father, Eva spent her childhood moving between France, London and Ireland. At the age of 17 she enrolled in drama school in Paris where she spent the next three years fine-tuning her talent.
She performed in theatre in Paris and earned a Molière Award nomination for her performance in Jalousie en Trois Fax.
Eva first garnered international attention when she made her film debut in The Dreamers, courting controversy for her abundant nude scenes.
However, it is her more recent role as a Bond girl in 2006's Casino Royale that really captured the world and blasted Eva into Hollywood starlet territory.
