The daughter of Keith Allen, Lily hit the music scene with a loud bang in the summer of 2006 with her number one single, Smile and the popstrel followed this with a nomination for Best British Album at the Brit Awards. Her take on ska/pop tunes heralded a new sound for the noughties.Since then, Lily's rise to fame has been unprecedented with her regular outpourings on her MySpace page, collaborations with DJ Mark Ronson, becoming the new face of lingerie label Agent Provocateur and more recently, fronting the campaign for Chanel's latest range of bags. Her second album, It's Not Me, It's You was released in February 2009 and debuted at number one in the UK. The singer suffered a miscarriage on 16 January 2008 after returning from holiday with then boyfriend, Ed Simons from The Chemical Brothers. The singer has since been linked to a handful of men, but is currently engaged to builder Sam Cooper, with whom she again fell pregnant in 2010. Tragically, she suffered another miscarriage after contracting a viral infection 6 months into her pregnancy. The couple are due to marry later this year.
