If this singing lark doesn’t work out, Ariana’s got a backup planReasons why we wish we were American: SNL. In fact we can safely say that if Saturday Night Live was aired in the UK our purses would be a lot heavier and our Sundays much less hungover.
Thanks to something called The Internet though, we're still able to catch up on the comically genius show. And this Saturday it didn’t fail to wow with lots of help from Ariana Grande.
Then singer-turned-actress put all her over-achieving talents to great use to take part in a number of hilarious sketches, which showcased her second-to-none impersonation skills - taking no prisoners along the way.
She nailed Jennifer Lawrence during a Family Feud style skit, not only by strangely morphing into her, but also perfectly impersonating her voice, and saying a number of phrases that are typical to the Oscar winning actress who loves to ‘keep it real.'
‘They told me not to do a game show, but I was like “screw it, I can have fun.” I’m a regular person,’ said Ariana impersonating Jen.
She later added: ‘I’m just like a snackaholic, I mean I love Pringles, I’ll eat like a whole can. Like every day is my cheat day. Do you know what I mean?’

Next up, Ariana starred in a skit that took place in the Tidal offices as the streaming service went down. Playing an intern called Chloe, the singer gave pitch perfect impressions of Britney Spears, Rihanna, Celine Dion and Shakira, while also kind of turning into them at the same time.
Like every ex child star, the singer knows the importance of a career scandal, as celebrated in this bluesy little number.
And just what is a feminist song? How do you do it not offend anyone? By making it NOT a feminist song, that’s how… ahem.
Ariana, we love you
