Waiting lists for beauty products are normally reserved for limited-edition releases from the likes of Crème de la Mer or La Prairie, not bottles of serum from Boots. Yet that's exactly the state of affairs right now thanks to No7 Protect & Perfect anti-aging serum being featured on BBC's Horizon last week when scientists at the University of Manchester proclaimed it to be the only anti-aging product they tested that actually repairs sun-damaged skin. Since it was featured, the product has sold out nationwide and there was a near riot in Yorkshire when one woman attempted to buy up one store's entire stock. 'The sales of Protect & Perfect have exceeded all our expectations,' reveals Ian Filby, beauty director at Boots. 'Our people have been working around the clock to ensure 20 weeks' worth of stock is delivered for the weekend.' So what are you waiting for?
