HOT CROSS BUNS
Buns came in all shapes, forms and sizes this season, from plait-knots to sleek, chic twists. 'I didn’t want a “do” as such – just a simple silhouette, but with something going on,’ said Malcolm Edwards backstage at Amanda Wakeley of his sophisticated fishtail plait secured in a bun, which was designed to emulate the delicate seams of the clothes. At Yeohlee, the plait-bun was split in two (think starting off life as pigtails) and worn high on the head.
