At the Public School show Aveda’s global creative director Antoinette Beenders created a half glossy, half fluffy texture to depict a girl who’d spent a night on the town. ‘Her morning-after hair speaks for itself. She danced her heart out, and still looks amazing,’ says Beenders.

The muse at Novis also had ‘cool girl’ hair, thanks to the glossy yet casual waves created by Aveda’s guest artist Frank Rizzieri ‘It’s a look for a sophisticated girl that you see in the museum and can’t look away as there’s something so intriguing.’

Allen Ruiz clearly got the ‘relaxed hair’ memo, and in keeping with the new season vibe he created intricately wrapped ponytails for the ‘modern nomads’ at Naadam. ‘She doesn’t want to spend too much time in front of the mirror, but she wants to look effortlessly chic,’ reveals Aveda’s Global Artistic Director for hair styling.
