The best powder blushers
Gels, tints and creams have all become popular alternatives to the traditional powder blush over the past few years, but sometimes the oldies are the best!
Read on for our favourite powder blushers…
Lancôme Blush Subtil, £22.95, uses soft micro-powders for a flawless yet natural application, and added silicon polymers for a long-lasting finish. With both sheer and shimmer editions, you can also choose the effect which suits you best.
Laura Mercier Cheek Colour, £18, is a big favourite with celebrity make-up artists who love its French cashmere talc formulation for flawless red carpet coverage. There are only five different shades to choose from, but all have good all-round skin suitability.
The classic powder blush comes courtesy of Nars, £18.50, with its dazzling array of shades. The most famous? Orgasm, which suits all skin tones and has an enviable celebrity fan list.
If you're stuck for which colour blush to choose, go for a cheaper brand like Bourjois and treat yourself to more than one shade. Its Pastel Joues Blusher costs just £6.25, but feels a lot more expensive on the skin.
