Some foundations clog my pores, what can I do to prevent this?

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra is one of my favourite foundations. For the type of situation you are experiencing, I would definitely recommend using a primer or a base before applying your foundation. My ultimate product for this is La Base Pro by Lancôme, inspired by make up artistry; it’s a translucent make up base which gives an ultra-soft finish to smooth the skin and boost the make-up result, helping your foundation last longer.
The oil-free texture will help to control the shine; and it glides on seamlessly, giving a smoothing effect on the skin. All imperfections including visible pores, fine lines, and signs of tiredness appear to be instantly smoothed away to give you a natural perfected look.
My top tips for using a primer:
•Use it on a cleansed and moisturised face
•Apply it all over or only on certain parts of the face as required
•Only use a small amount 1/2 pump to 1 pump
•Allow La Base Pro to absorb into your skin before applying foundation
