Should I use my fingers, a brush, or sponge to apply foundation?

This really depends on the individual; try experimenting with different application methods to help you find out what works best for you. A Sponge will give you a sophisticated coverage whereas using your fingers will give you a more natural coverage. Applying foundation with fingers can be messy, and to achieve the best result will depend on how good you are at blending.
A foundation brush is the best option for anyone (from the beginner to the expert) as it will give you the highest coverage, the foundation will lasting longer and you will receive the most natural-looking even results. I recommend the Lancôme Foundation Brush which has a long handle for easy application.
