Ask Lancome
Q
I am a big fan of mascaras so they are my priority tool for a night out. However after a few hours I always find myself fixing a mess my mascara has created around the eye area. Any advice?

There are two main causes for this. The first rule is to make sure you have removed your eye make-up from the night before really well. Bi-Facil from Lancôme is perfect for this and used by make-up artists worldwide and at fashion shows backstage. It's also one of our best selling product at Lancôme. The second rule is to ensure you only use a minimal quantity of eye cream so the eye area is not overloaded. We would recommend the size of a grain of rice.
When you apply mascara make sure your lashes are perfectly clean and dry allowing time for any eye make-up remover to evaporate. And finally, use a curling mascara to lift the lashes away from the skin which will avoid any marks in the under eye area at the end of an evening.
