Right now, it seems, no one can avoid the two dreaded words: credit crunch.

When it comes to hair products, it leaves us wondering when to splash the cash, and when to keep the purse padlocked.

Sometimes it's worth spending a bit extra to get the best results, while sometimes cheap and cheerful does the trick. We asked the experts where to scrimp, and where to splurge...

SPEND ON: GROOMING TOOLS
‘A great set of styling brushes means you save time and need less products to style your hair,’ says Ben Cooke, Herbal Essences ambassador and celebrity hairdresser, whose clients include Leona Lewis and Victoria Beckham. ‘Splash out on a great vent brush – brilliant for brushing through styles and detangling. Also, a natural-fibre bristle brush will cause less static, and a roller brush creates curls and waves, and helps to blow-dry hair smooth.’

Make-up artist Caroline Barnes says she wouldn’t be without her Tangle Teezer brush, £9.77. ‘It’s the only thing that gets the tangles out of my hair.’

SAVE ON: SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER
You don’t have to spend a fortune on daily haircare, providing it’s from a trusted brand. ‘If you wash your hair every day, saving money on shampoo and conditioner makes sense,’ says Cooke. ‘Choose wisely, by picking formulations geared to your hair type and you’ll get the best results.’ We love Herbal Essences, from £3.49; TRESemmé, from £4.29, and Sunsilk, from £1.99.

SPEND ON: DEEP CONDITIONING TREATMENTS
‘If you’re cutting corners on daily haircare, invest in a concentrated conditioning mask and use it weekly to provide intensive moisturisation and to repair wear and tear,’ says session stylist Craig Taylor. Try Wella System Professional Repair Mask, £14.95, a five-minute super-rich treat for dehydrated or over-processed hair.

my hair is very fine and i can't do any style for my hair how i can make it more vouluem and make wave what i should to make my hair look vouluem and healthey and wave .
and i used a extention but when i do it it is appear at my hair and i dont like it what can i do
