The Time Traveler's Wife
By Marie Claire advertorial on Wednesday 14 January 2009
Meet our fiction forum panellist:
Rachael Sanderson, 29, a sub-editor from Gloucestershire, says she prefers to curl up on the sofa with a book rather than watch TV.
'I first read this about a year and a half ago and it's one of those books that draws you in right from the start,' Rachael say of this quirky love story.
'It's about a couple who are separated not geographically, but by time and space because the husband has a strange genetic disorder.'
For Rachel it was a reading experience she instantly wanted to repeat. 'I got to the end and wanted to go back to the beginning straightaway. I also love the magical element to it, which turns an ordinary love story into something quite different, there's a lot of humour, too.'
